Each year the familial ‘harvest’ team meets at Red Bud Ranch to pick the crop and experience the crush, the pressing and the tasting of the early wine before it goes in the barrels. There is always the anticipation that this year is even better than the last and that we have shared in the success of creating a fine wine. The farmer, the winemaker, her family and friends hope you enjoy the wines from Julie LePla Winery and can taste the love and care that went into each bottle.

2007 Zinfandel                                                                            $16.99  $12.99
 This balanced Zinfandel is full of dark cherry and has hints of strawberry and vanilla. The delicious spicy finish and velvety mouth-feel enhance the experience of drinking this wine. 70 cases were produced.
                                                                                                          

2008 Zinfandel                                                                            $16.99  $12.99
 This zin is rich with cherry and enhanced with ripe strawberry on the nose and palate. The wine is nicely structured and the fruit is balanced with subtle oak and a pleasant earthiness. Due to a spring frost there is a limited quantity of this wine – only 25 cases.
                                                                                                          

2007 Cabernet Sauvignon                                                                       $16.99
 Using grapes harvested from a 35 year old vineyard in Vacaville only small quantities of this wine were produced. It was aged in oak for 2 years and in the bottle for nearly a year before its release. Ruby red in color, it has flavors of black currant with hints of spice and coffee. Only 80 bottles are available.
                                                                                                          

2008 Barbera                                                                                          $14.99
 Using grapes harvested from The Horseshoe in Winters CA, only 21 gallons of this wine were produced. It has been aging in oak and is a beautiful garnet color. Plum is the predominant flavor and it is enhanced with spice on the palate. Only 105 bottles are available.
                                                                                                          

2009 ZinClaire                                                                                        $12.99
 Once again ZinClaire, Julie LePla Winery’s trademarked dry, Zinfandel Rosé is back in limited supplies. Juice was bled off the skins during fermentation after only 24 hours. The resulting wine is light and refreshing, with lots of cherry and strawberry. Serve chilled.
